Catie Marie is excited to return to her hometown of Birmingham to serve on the Fortif team. Prior to working at Fortif, Catie Marie served as a children’s disability rights attorney in Mississippi, where she worked to ensure her young clients had quality access to education and healthcare. Catie Marie brings the same passion to her work at Fortif and plans to use her time in the public sector to inform her work with Alabama businesses and nonprofits as they seek to grow and better their communities.
While attending Brooklyn Law School, Catie Marie interned at Fresh, Inc., a Louis Vuitton skincare subsidiary, and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. Catie Marie is excited to combine her experiences with large-scale corporations in New York and her direct legal services work with individuals in Mississippi to contribute to Fortif’s mission of making Alabama a better place to live for all of its residents.
In her spare time, Catie Marie enjoys creative writing and spending time with her husband and their cat, Paterson.
Catie Marie is licensed to practice law in Mississippi and Alabama.
